Our Mission
Our mission is to (a) further the advancement of all breeds in pure-bred dogs; (b) do all in our power to protect and advance the interest of pure-bred dogs; (c) encourage sportsman-like competition at dog shows, obedience and agility trials; (d) conduct sanction matches, dog shows, obedience and agility trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club.Membership
Regular membership is open to all persons eighteen years of age or older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club, who subscribe to the purposes of the Bexar County Kennel Club, agree to abide by the Club constitution and by-laws, and who agree to abide by the American Kennel Club rules and regulations. Membership application forms may be obtained from the club Secretary. Junior membership is available on similar terms for those between ten and eighteen years of age.
All perspective new members must attend two meetings within a six month period to apply for membership.

Club Awards
Open to all members of Bexar County Kennel Club whom are in good standing and have attended a minimum of four meetings within the calendar year.
